an intaglio of a running dog with

the motto, "When This Dog

Barks My Friendship Shall End".

The seal measures 23mm in

height, and base measures

11mm x 13mm. Condition is

good. Minor scratching and

staining of agate. Some wear

and loss on gilt finish.

English in origin.

A lovely 9ct. gold crystal essex

pendant of a chocolate Labrador

dog. Measures 1 3/8" in diameter. Condition is very good. The

pendant has a reverse painted

crystal dome with mother-of-pearl

backing (A reverse crystal dome is

rock crystal that is cut into a

convex form and then polished

into a cabochon. Then a relief

image is carved from the back and

hand painted. This gives the image

a three dimensional look).

detailed and expressive

9K Gold Labrador

Dog Pin

This sweet Labrador measures

1 1/4" in height and 1 1/4" from

front paw to tip of tail.  The pin

weighs 12 grams. The eyes are sapphires. Hallmarked with a

maker's mark of H G and 375

for 9k gold. The hallmarks date

the pin for 1944 and English in

origin. The pin is very heavy

and well made. Great detail to

fur and face.

Antique William

Ford Enamel Dog Pin

A lovely 14k gold and enamel

pin by William Bishop Ford. 

Ford was a specialist painter of

miniature enamels, he was a pupil

and assistant of William Essex who

was famous for his dog enamels.  In

1839, William Essex was appointed

Enamel Painter in Ordinary to

Princess Augusta, Queen Victoria

and HRH Prince Albert. Pin is in

good condition. Measures 1 3/8"

in diameter.  The dog's eyes will

melt your heart.

and bale is 14k gold.  No

tiny hairline cracks. All are

and 1 1/2" in height (not

including bale).
